Dialysis is a treatment for patients diagnosed with kidney failure or kidney disease. When the treatment is ordered, patients receive it on a consistent, ongoing basis to help rid the body of unwanted waste products, toxins, and excess fluids by cleaning and filtering the blood. Dialysis is a necessary and effective for people in various stages of kidney disease and can often take the place of some kidney function. With dialysis, proper medical care, adhering to a healthy lifestyle, and using certain medications, people can live longer lives.

For over 5 years True to Care Non-Emergency Medical Transportation has been active in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, Arizona, and the valley, servicing the dialysis centers, nursing homes and several local school districts for their wheelchair, stretcher and medical transport needs. In that time we have built good relationships with many of them.

We have an entire vehicle fleet including a wide range of medical vans that can accommodate many rides. Each vehicle carries full insurance and adheres to local, state, federal and ADA safety requirements as well as the licensing standards of your city, Maricopa county and Arizona state.

All our staff are ensuring their own health is good prior to our customers trusting us to keep them healthy as well. Our van drivers have been flexible in transitioning to align with all CDPH guidelines, they are kind and considerate, they understand the importance of being prompt and safe. Preparing each ride is important, and we will ask if there is any need for oxygen cylinders, a wheelchair, or a stretcher.

For each ride please let us know if there is any special assistance that you require. When you need help walking to the car and getting in the car our drivers will be more than happy to assist you, they will also help you get to destination – going with you inside the building. When a dialysis patient is bed bound, our staff can deliver hands-on stretcher transportation, which includes:

• Moving bed-bound the patient from bed into stretcher
• Transporting the patient on and off of the van
• Securely and safely strapping the patient into the van
• Transporting him or her all the way off the stretcher and to the destination

We also provide clean stretcher equipment when necessary.

We can provide transportation 24 hours 7 days a week and all year services for people who might reside in a care home to visit local family as well as our usual weekly dialysis, and medical appointment trips.

Dialysis transportation is done once a few days, and we have an important rule – recurring multiple rides scheduled ahead of time are discounted based on frequency.
