For over 5 years True to Care Non-Emergency Medical Transportation has been active in the Maricopa county, Arizona, we provide transportation to our community that utilizes wheelchairs, both standard or motorized. We understand that physical or mental conditions can pose different challenges for passengers and their loved ones. Long distance transportation is a service we offer for customers that cannot fly, we are prepared to travel any distance and we have tailored our transportation services for people with specific needs in ways that center around safety, comfort, and efficiency.
Our accessible service will take passengers anywhere in the Maricopa county, anywhere in Arizona, or even outside of the state, to help them get to their important medical appointments, meetings, or any destination. We focus on the unique needs of seniors and people with disabilities.
Stretcher is our preferred method of long distance transportation for the handicapped when the handicap is serious. A top of the line model stretcher layered with a special padding is used to transfer the person into the transport vehicle, inside the vehicle the stretcher is securely locked into place. The transport stretcher is capable of adjustment at the head and leg portion in order to meet any specific comfort needs.
If the handicap is not too serious a seat is the preferred option, we can accommodate that request as well.
Our vehicles are top-of-the-line, newer model ADA compliant, handicapped accessible vans. They are equipped with heavy duty wheelchair hoists that can accommodate standard, oversized, bariatric or electric wheelchairs. Stretcher services are also available for standard or bariatric patients and oxigen is supplied in vehicles.
Our staff is specially and thoroughly trained, CPR certified, defensive driving certified, hospice sensitivity certified, PASS certified, drug tested and background checked because we want our customers to get safe and comfortable to destination.
